17A-05 Connectivity

The Com Range Check (Communication range) test is directed by the test leader Christoph Ragonig. The range of the suit’s communication system is tested. Potential hazards within the tests is distraction due to local people. This test involves three test-sections.

Preparation and Set-up: In advance, the Operations-box has to be set up and powered down. Furthermore the W-LAN set-up and the LAN configuration has to be done. In the end the test side has to be prepared.

Testing: The Hard Upper Torso has to be started and the communication with the OPS-Box has to be established. During the Test the Aouda HUT is moved away from the OPS and the resistance of the communication is checked.

Finalising test and packing: To successfully end Test 05, the test results have to be checked for their consistency. So the test can be repeated right away and time wasting can be avoided.
